Faith

Faith is knowing that everything will be alright.
Faith is trusting that God has greater sight.

Faith is enduring through the challenges of life,
the heartaches, the losses, the pain and the strife.

Faith is knowing that there is a Father above,
whose heart is filled with nothing but love.

Faith is knowing that the sun will rise
after the darkest night will come the bluest skies.

Faith is trusting in a Father who gives you things
to give you the joy that truly knowing Him brings.

Faith is submitting to the Fathers will.
Faith is knowing that He is there still.

Faith is where you place your footsteps every day,
and stepping in the dark, knowing the light will follow and lead the way.

On the Nile River

About a year ago, I was on a Humanitarian trip in Uganda. We had weekends off to travel and such. One weekend, we went rafting down the Nile River. It was one of the most terrifying, but exciting experiences of my life. Before we went, our instructor trained us a little on what he was going to have us do, and safety measures. He said whenever we flip over, there's only one thing you have to do. "HOLD ON TO THAT ROPE FOR DEAR LIFE". There was a rope on the side of our raft that of course we had to hold on to. He had us flip the boat over to practice. Throughout the day, whenever the raft flipped, I realized how important it was to hold on to that rope. It really did keep us safe. This is a lot like the Word of God. As long as we "hold to the rope" and keep ourselves immersed in the scriptures, hold fast to them EVERY day, we will be safe. I know that the scriptures are there for a reason, they are that sure rope that will help get us through this crazy life. As long as we "hold fast" to them, we will make it, even if our raft flips over, and the storms of life beat upon us!

Hello there!

Hi there! I'm Sister Jenny Forsyth. I am from South Jordan, Utah but I grew up in Canada. I have 4 brothers, who I love dearly. I love reading, writing, and music. I have dedicated 18 months of my life (100%! 7 days a week!!!) to serving my Father in Heaven, and helping people learn about what makes me happy.

Wish you had a little more purpose in life? Ever wonder why you are here or where you came from? I testify the answers can be found, and in them lies true joy and happiness.
